CORPORATE OVERVIEW
A Global Vision. A Diversified Commodities Portfolio.
CMSC Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based commodities trading company established with the vision of building a diversified, internationally connected business across the global natural resources, energy, minerals, and industrial commodities sectors.
Operating from Singapore, one of the world’s leading international commercial and trading hubs, CMSC aims to connect resource producers, mining companies, industrial manufacturers, commodity suppliers, distributors, and international buyers through strategic sourcing, structured trading arrangements, and long-term commercial partnerships.
Our business interests span a broad range of commodities, including coal, gold, minerals, river sand, sea sand, oil and gas, sulphur, coconut shell, coconut shell charcoal, activated carbon feedstock, and other selected industrial and agricultural commodities.
This diversified approach enables CMSC to explore opportunities across multiple industries, from power generation and infrastructure development to water treatment, environmental filtration, industrial processing, manufacturing, and resource-based supply chains.
We recognise that successful international commodity trading requires more than connecting buyers and sellers. It requires a strong understanding of product specifications, supply availability, commercial structures, logistics, documentation, counterparty requirements, and the regulatory frameworks governing each market.
CMSC is committed to developing a business platform built around these principles, connecting suitable sources of supply with genuine market demand and creating commercially sustainable relationships across regional and international markets.
Through its intended business network connecting Singapore and Indonesia, including relationships with PT Sarah Jacob Resources (SJR) and Sarah Jacob Group (SJG), CMSC seeks to develop a coordinated approach to resource sourcing, supplier engagement, commodity trading, and international market development, subject to the respective entities’ roles, authorisations, and agreements.
Our long-term ambition is to establish CMSC as a trusted and recognised trading partner across a diversified portfolio of natural resources and industrial commodities.
OUR BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY
From Resource Origins to Global Markets.
CMSC believes that every commodity has a place within a wider global supply chain.
Coal supports energy and industrial demand. Minerals provide essential raw materials for manufacturing and infrastructure. Sand contributes to construction and industrial applications. Gold serves established precious-metal markets. Oil and gas support energy and industrial needs. Sulphur serves a variety of chemical and industrial processes. Coconut-derived carbon materials offer opportunities across filtration, purification, and environmental applications.
Our role is to identify suitable commercial opportunities and bring together qualified suppliers, buyers, and industry partners through transparent negotiations and clearly structured transactions.
We seek to build a business model that combines commodity diversification with disciplined commercial execution, enabling CMSC to pursue opportunities across different products, markets, and customer segments.
Our guiding principles are:
* Strategic sourcing: Developing relationships with suitable producers, suppliers, and resource owners.
* International trading: Facilitating commodity purchases and sales across appropriate markets.
* Commercial connectivity: Connecting suppliers with industrial users, distributors, manufacturers, and international buyers.
* Supply-chain coordination: Supporting product specifications, documentation, logistics, and delivery arrangements.
* Long-term partnerships: Building sustainable commercial relationships founded on professionalism and mutual value.
